SenSource offers a full value package of sourcing, engineering, and logistics services. We tailor the specific package to the needs of each client, in order to help them gain a competitive advantage in their own marketplace.

SenSource began its business with a single client on one simple die casting. This client was looking for potential cost reduction on tooling and part price, and they knew they would have to search the world for a supply relationship that met their needs. This was outside of the time and resource commitment that they were able to employ at that time. After the successful launch of this part and a demonstration of SenSource’s consistency and reliability, the full scope of SenSource’s value proposition emerged. Over a short period of time, SenSource was asked to review a number of parts using a variety of processes in an attempt to reduce costs, improve quality and optimize this client’s supply chain. SenSource now provides over ninety components and products using a variety of processes for this client, and from multiple countries in Asia. SenSource now manages the complete supply chain for these products.

We analyze usage trends, order products, manage production and quality, handle logistics and importation, inventory, warehouse and ship product from our Cincinnati warehouse on a JIT basis. This allows our client to focus on internal production and not on the management of a supply chain that stretches to several countries across the globe. By effectively outsourcing the international procurement, our client reduces costs as well as risk. By leveraging SenSource’s existing resources and capabilities, our client saves money in personnel headcount, logistics, warehousing and inventory. By using our locally managed and inspected factories, they greatly lower their risk of poor quality or production disruption. This program has proven to be an unmitigated grand slam for the client, and is now entering its second decade.
